Birmingham is the UK’s second city. It's a lively, diverse, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural city with over 22 languages spoken. Placed in the centre of England, Birmingham is just two hours away from London by train and has its own international airport.

Many of the country's major tourist attractions, such as Stratford upon Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare, and Oxford, the famous university town, are within easy reach. One of the jewels in Birmingham's crown must be the canalside area in the heart of the city, known as Brindley Place. It has a wide variety of bars and restaurants, as well as modern offices, hotels, the Crescent Theatre, and the National Sea Life Centre. The area has gained international recognition with a recent 'Excellence on the Waterfront' award. |
