Health and Social Care – Level 1 - 2

This qualification is suitable if you are looking for a career in the Health and Social Care sector. The course helps to introduce and prepare you for a role as a care worker. It provides you with the theory and develops mental skills.

Level 1 gives you the introduction, basic knowledge and skills of becoming a care worker.

Level 2 allows you to develop these skills further and learn about looking after children as well as those with physical disabilities.

The course is available as an Award, Certificate or Diploma.

Course duration: 

Level 1 = 90 - 240 hrs
Level 2 = 120 - 330 hrs

Entry requirements :

Literacy and Numeracy Level 1/ 2.

Progression route :

Completion of Level 2 enables you to progress to Level 3 or go into employment.

Fee :

Starts from £500 but varies depending on what qualification is studied
