If you do not have a Level 1 qualification in Maths then this course is suitable for you. The course is designed to improve your basic skills in different mathematical areas such as measures and shape, money and numbers.

Entry requirements:

No formal qualifications required. You  will however take ashort assessment to determine your level of Maths

Progression:

You can progress onto Numeracy Level 2 or do G.C.S.E Maths.

Numeracy – Level 2

The course covers the core - curriculum standards for Numeracy in the national qualification framework.

The course looks at areas of number, measure, shape and space. Handling data amongst other topic areas.

1 year

Entry requirements:    

Literacy and Numeracy Level 1.

Progression:     

Progress onto a Level 3 course of further or higher education, or into employment.
